Ellen and Roger Revelle rent 780 Prospect Street (Wisteria Cottage) to the Balmer School, and all school operations move to this location.
Roger Revelle was an oceanographer with Scripps Institution of Oceanography and later would be one of the founders of the University of California San Diego. Ellen Revelle was the grandniece of Ellen Browning Scripps; her two children, Ann and Bill, attend the school at this time.
